What I love about Being a Graphic Designer

As I’ve mentioned before I have always loved drawing, ever since I was a little girl, I always had a colouring book in my hand. Graphic design is such an important field. As graphic designers we help viewers absorb information with our creative abilities. We use colour, scale, texture, composition, typography and more to get a point across.

One of the things I love most is that graphic design can help a business get noticed, help it make a difference. Coming up with a catchy tagline or a logo your client really loves is such a good feeling to have.

I love that every day is different. It isn’t a boring office job, you could get a new client or a new idea on how to improve a design could pop into your head. This happens to me all the time. I like to carry a little notebook around in my bag because inspiration is everywhere. Ideas can come from the strangest and most unpredictable places.

Most of all I love how the industry is always evolving. It keeps you on your toes and there is always a continued demand for you to push your boundaries and be creative.
