Personal Goals

When I graduate I think I will look for a job within a company as an in-house designer or within an agency. I would like to do this to build up some experience and enhance my skills. I would like the opportunity to work as part of a team, under an art director. I am someone that loves working as part of a team but is also comfortable to work as an individual.

I think I would like to move to a more populated area, maybe even further outside the UK and see what other opportunities are available to me. Given a bigger city, it might bring more job prospects with an increased salary. The ultimate dream would be to work for a large franchise such as Pentagram or Disney. Eventually hoping to be an Art Director.

Maybe later down the line I would like to dabble in some freelance work. I think I would keep my website running whilst I have a job just to keep on top of my portfolio and keep my name out there. I don’t think I would like to ever stop being a graphic designer. So freelance is always a fall back option for me.
