Hello!

Welcome to my portfolio website! My name is Shelby Connor, I’m 24 and I am a graphic design student, living in Glasgow. For me, becoming a graphic designer was never a lifelong ambition. Up until my 5th year of high school, I wanted to be a vet. Art and drawing had always been a hobby of mine and it was only until I visited a University open day, I became intrigued about turning my hobby into something more.

After studying Computer Games (Art & Animation) at Glasgow Caledonian University, I decided that the coding and the gaming was not for me. I was more interested in creating and drawing. This led me to my current graphic design course. I learned a lot of techniques during my time at University that I hope will come in handy somewhere down the line in my graphic design career. I enjoy all aspects of design and have a passion for advertising as well as branding and typography. I’m always striving to improve as a designer and take inspiration from everything I see. I’m glad I decided to change paths, as I feel I have really found my calling in graphic design.
